Magink is designed to provide safe, creative, and age-appropriate experiences for children. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules and guidelines for using the Magink app and services. By using Magink, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Permitted Use
You may use Magink to: create and read personalized stories; choose characters and story themes; listen to audio narrations; share stories within the app (where permitted); manage family accounts and preferences; and use features as intended for personal, non-commercial, family enjoyment.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
2.1 Content Restrictions
- Create, submit, or share content that is violent, sexually explicit, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful to minors
- Use story prompts, character names, or inputs that include profanity, slurs, or inappropriate material
- Attempt to generate content that exploits or endangers children
- Upload or share content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
2.2 Technical Misuse
- Bypass, disable, or circumvent any security or access control feature
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the service without permission
- Overload or disrupt our systems (e.g., denial-of-service attacks)
- Attempt to extract data, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service at scale
2.3 Account and Identity
- Create false or misleading accounts or impersonate others
- Share account credentials or allow unauthorized persons to access your account
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse free trials
2.4 Commercial Misuse
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit Magink content or the service without written permission
- Use Magink to build a competing product or service
- Use the service for unsolicited advertising, spam, or phishing
3. Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, remove, or block content that violates this AUP. We may use automated systems and human review to detect violations. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so at our discretion. If you believe content violates this policy, please report it to support@maginkapp.com.
4. AI-Generated Content
Our AI generates stories based on your inputs. You are responsible for the prompts and choices you provide. Do not use prompts designed to elicit harmful, inappropriate, or policy-violating content. We may block certain inputs and reserve the right to refuse generation of content that violates this AUP.
5. Child Safety
Magink is designed for children and families. Parents and guardians are expected to supervise use and ensure that content created and consumed is appropriate. Do not use Magink in any way that could harm, exploit, or endanger minors. We cooperate with law enforcement regarding illegal activity involving minors.
6. Enforcement
Violations may result in: warnings; temporary or permanent suspension of your account; removal of content; termination of your subscription without refund; and reporting to relevant authorities where required by law. We determine enforcement in our sole discretion.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
